This is a Centralized Notification for the engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 being conducted by Western Railway and Railway Recruitment Cell, Western Railway(RRC-WR).
Western Railway invites ONLINE applications from interested Applicants for engagement as Act Apprentices against the 5066 slots notified for training in the designated Trades under Apprentice Act1961 at various Divisions and workshops within the jurisdiction of Western Railways for the year 2024-25. Applicants can submit their applications ONLINE only on RRC’s website https://www.rrc-wr.com.
The candidature of the Applicants will be considered only based on the information filled in the ONLINE application. Document Verification will be held in the concerned Divisions & Workshops. RRC Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024-25: Eligibility criteria
For the RRC Western Railway Apprentice recruitment 2024-25, candidates should have completed Matriculate or 10th class(under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate, from a recognized board and ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT/ SCVT is compulsory.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 15 years
Maximum Age: 24 years (as of the cutoff date)
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC-NCL: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years
Ex-Servicemen: Additional 10 years + 3 years
RRC Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024-25: Selection Process
Selection for apprenticeship training is based on merit, which is determined by the average marks from matriculation and ITI examinations. Candidates are ranked according to their average scores, with preference given to those with higher marks. A merit list will be created, and candidates will be invited for document verification (DV) up to 1.5 times the number of available positions.
