Canara Bank Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
For the Canara Bank Graduate Apprentice recruitment 2024, candidates should have the following Eligibilty criteria:
Nationality:
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii)a subject of Bhutan or
(iv)a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Education:
The applicant must have completed a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 28 years (as of the cutoff date)
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC-NCL: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years
Widows / divorced women: 35 years for Gen/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.
Persons affected by 1984 Riots: 5 Years
Apprentice Training period: 1 Year
Stipend during Apprentice: 15,000/month

Canara Bank Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The merit list of those candidates will be prepared State wise in descending order on the basis of marks/percentage obtained in 12th Std (HSC/10+2)/ Diploma Examination. In case more than one candidate is having the same percentage, such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the merit.
The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks (in all the subjects) multiplied by 100. Merit list will be prepared based only on the information submitted by the candidate during online application.
Final Selection will be subject to: 1) Verification of the eligibility for the training seat and information furnished in the online application.
2) Qualification in the test of local language for the State opted. 3) Be declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.
