RESPONSIBILITIES:

- We are looking for a Manager, Planning and DCAT to join our Corporate Actuarial department.
- As part of the Corporate Actuarial team, you will work closely with the team and other finance departments to build regulatory capital and insurance forecasting models.
- You will have an opportunity to apply your strong data management, stochastic modeling, and actuarial forecasting techniques while developing your knowledge of property and casualty accounting and regulation.
- Preparing the reports and analysis in some of the following areas: capital modeling, corporate planning and reinsurance.
- Develops and maintains scenario-based and stochastic capital models.
- Complete and maintain the DCAT model and reporting requirements
- Produce quarterly balance sheet projections and support Cartesis submission for Plan 2011
- Develop and provide coaching to an analyst regulatory capital.
- Analyses actuarial data in support of economic capital model assumptions.
- Prepares the supporting documents required for actuarial opinions.
- Provides data and analysis to assist in corporate planning, investment management and reinsurance programs.
- Documents actuarial processes and models.
- Liaison with economic capital team to ensure that regulatory and economic stress testing is consistent.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- University Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
- Related work experience.
- Organization and communication skills.
- Teamwork skills and client service skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
