RESPONSIBILITIES

- Existing Program Monitoring and Management:
- Deliver timely and informative quarterly program assessments to Programs management.
- Evaluate the profitability of existing programs with in-depth actuarial analysis.
- Perform monthly price monitor analysis.
- New Program Analysis and Development:
- Collaborate closely with the WSG management cross-functional team to design appropriate coverage and pricing program structures that satisfy both the profitability goals of the division as well meet the needs of potential program agents.
- Project expected loss ratios by line of business using a variety of methods that make the best use of the information available.
- Communicate concise results with verbal discussions with business leaders, easy-to-read exhibits, and formal memos.
- Financial and Reinsurance Support:
- Assist senior management and corporate actuarial in the projection of future loss ratios and other metrics including the preparation of planning documents: timely ELRs, payment patterns, and bridging worksheets.
Filing Support:
- Provide timely assistance in the preparation of all WSG Programs specific filings and facilitate any subsequent data needs from the DOIs.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- Working knowledge of P&C actuarial pricing techniques and terminology.
- At least 2 actuarial exams and 2 years of actuarial experience preferred.
- Experience in working independently and under tight time constraints.
- Must have excellent Excel skills.
- Good communication skills - both oral and written.
- Experience in system data retrieval and database manipulation a plus.
