RESPONSIBILITIES

- The Enterprise Risk Management Governance & Disclosure position will be responsible for:
- Assimilating and summarizing regulatory risk-management publications, directives, etc.
- Assisting with the preparation of the company’s regulatory and rating agency risk management materials.
- Coordinating and assisting with the company’s internal risk management governance processes.
- The position requires close collaboration with Corporate Actuarial & Risk Management, Corporate Treasury, Corporate Legal, and Corporate Communications viewed as the governance, risk and compliance subject matter expert and critical resource across multiple disciplines.
- This position acts as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, or other related field.
- 5-10+ years experience leading and implementing successful enterprise-wide risk management programs, including the implementation of industry best practices, offering innovative solutions, collaborating with key business partners, and ensuring strategic initiatives are supported by data analytics.
- Outstanding organizational, written and verbal skills are a must strong collaboration and facilitation skills are required.
- Solid background in insurance ideally in risk or underwriting. Consulting experience is a plus, preferably in a communications and/or risk practice.
- Responds well to change. Handles multiple demands / priorities effectively.
- Handles conflict effectively.
- Works well in a collaborative environment.
- Develops new skills quickly. Willing to accept new responsibilities.
