Opening for Project Manager in an UK based Company, Chennai

A UK based Software Testing organization is looking for a Project Manager with 8 - 12 years of experience in the industry.

Prerequisites

• Self-starter with ability to acquire new skills autonomously.
• Excellent technical knowledge gained from hands on role within a global organization.
• Should be able to manage teams in a high pressure environment.
• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills in English language.
• Strong people and inter-personal skills.
• Experienced with leading medium sized teams.
• Good client interfacing skills and experience.

Job Description

• Should be a PMP certified Professional with hands-on-experience in Testing.
• Strong experience in product / application development, and has been through full lifecycle development of multiple products/applications.
• Expertise in automation tools, Team Management, Test Planning, Test Strategy & Test estimation.
• Expertise in Mercury Quick Test Prof/Robot/RFT/load runner.
• Knowledge in high end technologies will be an added advantage.
• Hard core programming experience throughout the career.
• Should be able to guide developers in solving technical issues.
• Good problem solving skills and can easily translate requirements to optimal designs and implementations
• Experience in end to end project management activities and client handling
• Should have managed and delivered projects.
• Should know QA process and Business Development.
• Document the work flow along with detailed instructions of what precedes or super cedes a process and what resources are required to complete the entire process successfully.
• Participate in project services and application services projects & provides technical solutions.
• Work with projects team to design and document work flow chart.
• Act as the problem owner for critical situations, and look for opportunities to work with technical towers and Operations to improve processes and provide early notification.
• Perform problem analysis and resolve with in the required SLA’s.
• Responsible for research, analysis, documentation, and presentation of effective methods of consolidating various jobs / workflows / started tasks and automating them to prevent manual intervention from Operations.
• Responsible for evaluating and projecting impacts of actual or proposed changes in jobs codes wherever necessary or in the job scheduler.
• Ideally, the individual would benefit from understand processes from both the Infrastructure Operations Center, and the Lines of Business.
• Should be able to Identify, Plan, Execute, Monitor and Deliver high end solutions as per the need of the organization.
• Responsible for all application development.
