Opening for Junior Manager in an UK based Company, Chennai

A UK based Software Testing organization is looking for a Project Manager with 6 - 10 years of experience in the industry.

Prerequisites:

• Understand and suggest improvements to the Test Process.
• Develop and execute test cases within budget and schedule constraints.
• Develop test Bed and verify test Environments.
• Perform functional and technical test execution activities as per engagement model in projects.
• Document software product defects and track it to closure.
• Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders to track deliverable during test planning and execution phases where applicable.
• Assist the Test lead/Assistant Test Manager in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day.
• Participate in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in relation to the test quality.
• Contribute to accurately estimate work requirements.
• Conduct reviews and inspections of project deliverables (small size projects).
• Contribute to define & Document test procedures & policies.
• Report status promptly.

Desirable:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience of GUI testing tools like Quick Test Pro is desirable.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize work and deliver to tight timescales.
• Good analytical and diagnostic skills
