Job Description

Candidate should be Graduate and Law degree holder

Minimum 2 years post qualification experience of working in a Corporate Dept., of a Public Ltd. Company or as a practicing Advocate

Exposure to recovery suits under Negotiable Instrument Act would be preferable.

Experience of dealing in Dist. Judge, Civil Judge and Tribunal Offices preferred

Filing and defending various suits for and against the Company.

Drafting of various Agreements in consultations with legal Dept in Mumbai.

Advising local unit on various statutes applicable to products and processes

Representing the Company in person before various Statutory Authorities.

Helping Marketing Team in credit appraisal for the Dist. & Customers.

Verification of property documents given as “Security” by the customers.

Assist regional heads on regular basis and provide legal help wherever required.

Liasion with Advocates, Lawyers, Law firms, solicitors on regular basis.

Dealing and follow up with the Court authorities.

Providing status and updates on various legal suits / complaints to legal dept., Mumbai

Assisting DGM (Legal) in Mumbai in accomplishing the objectives and goals of the Dept.

Providing training to Mkting team on legal matters wherever required in consultation with DGM (Legal),Mumbai
