Job Description
* Develop and manage highly used, highly scalable databases with MYSQL and PHP5.
* Understand the specifications to define system requirements.
* Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document and deploy changes to the system.
* Work with Product Development to understand and solve business issues.
* Participate in deployment planning.
* Estimating project duration, effort, resource load and cost.
* Support project management and product management in identification of
technical risks and work out risk mitigation strategies/approaches for the same.
* Participate in project planning.

Desired Candidate Profile
* BE/BTech from a reputed university/institute
* 3-5 Years DBA and Database programming experience
* Knowledge of OOD, OOPerl
* MySQL and Linux experience is a must.
* Experienced with complex SQL queries and database schema design
(MySQL(required), Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
* Experience with MYSQL clustering.
* Should have worked on highly scalable, highly available and high traffic web
applications.
* Should be able to handle DBA activities for MYSQL.
* Experience with PHP.
* Knowledge of consuming and creating Web Services.
* Worked in projects using an Agile, test-driven approach with frequent
iterations.
* Exposure to large databases, online services, eCommerce preferred
