RESPONSIBILITIES

- Valuation, ALM and actuarial analysis support for Latin America Region.
- Specific functions include the following:
- Prepare, review, and analyze various actuarial items for territories in the region.
- Prepare and review FAS 97 valuation methodology and assumptions, make recommendations as necessary.
- Assist with the preparation of actuarial items for territorial budgets in the region.
- Provide an actuarial resource to regional and local offices.
- Perform projections of FAS 97 business.
- Make recommendations to improve financial reporting process for the region.
- Monitor developments in regulatory requirements and changes in actuarial standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Fellow in the Society of Actuaries
- College graduate. Major in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business/Accounting or Computer Science preferable.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in life insurance valuation and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
- Good communication skills, effective interpersonal skills.
- Polysystems, SAS, ALFA, and Spanish knowledge a plus.
