Opening for Facility Manager in an UK based Company, Chennai


Looking for a positive and professional individual with excellent Facility Management skills with minimum 3 years of experience for an UK based Software testing Company, Chennai

Experience: 3 – 8 years
Location: Chennai

Job Description:

 Adept at managing administrative activities involving purchase of equipments, maintenance of procurement, housekeeping, safety, security, etc.
 Planning and preparing monthly reports pertaining to finance required for maintaining office infrastructure and facilities.
 Managing repair, maintenance & replacement of office equipments, appliances, furniture, furnishings, vehicles, building, etc.,
 Vendor management- Oversee acquisition, installation and commissioning of equipments that are required for the facility – IT Systems, air conditioning etc.
 Processes, Documentation, Business Control checks, audits etc.
 Monitor all Statutory Compliance areas.
 Asset Management of all Site operations assets across multiple locations
 Upkeep of office administrative facilities and ensure availability of daily miscellaneous requirements to provide harmonious work culture to employees.
 Acting as info-hub for providing administration related information and supervising administrative activities like general admin, verification of stationery stock, courier, florist, pest control, housekeeping, etc.
 Overseeing the preventive maintenance i.e. Structural repairs, Waterproofing, Ext. & Int. Painting, Industrial Painting, etc.
 Directing the efficient rendering of facilities including electrical & plumbing services, fire services, Materials, etc.
 Should have Minimum 3 years of relevant facility management experience/Exposure
 Deep knowledge and experience with facility operations and customer service delivery
 Strong leadership and motivational ability.

Skills Required:

 Responsible for periodical review and audit of fire and security system
 Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
 Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
 Ability to operate independently with minimal direction
 Manage day to day operation around security in co-ordination with regular security management.
 Submit site reports on a weekly & monthly basis.
