Job Description


Candidate should be B.Tech/BE (Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication)

Min 14 yrs of experience in Passive Telecom Infrastructure

Should have knowledge of NOC

Lead and develop NOC processes to ensure uninterrupted monitoring of the site operations Actively contribute the setting up and functioning of NOC for monitoring the overall performance and availability of the passive infrastructure to ensure that the sites are running and up all the time.

Establish a robust system of connectivity to all the sites PAN India through GPRS and OSS and track its performance to rectify any faults in the connectivity.

Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the NOC by keeping track of key activities involved in corrective and preventive maintenance of the applications and the hardware.

Drive the Operational Excellence and Maintenance of NOC


Ensure quick response to all major malfunctions and establish a system for timely and appropriate response in coordination with Maintenance & Repair.

Collate and review all the data on function of the sites to analyze and ensure that NOC technicians are monitoring IT environment and network so that server issues are identified, diagnosed, and troubleshoot expeditiously.

Establish a system for reporting upon and addressing all problems/customer service matters by generating MIS reports.

Monitor the shift logs and oversee the shift turnover and shift reporting to ensure seamless transition of NOC monitoring and active problem resolution.

Analyze the need and direct the introduction of advanced event filters in the monitoring application to support evaluation and escalation of complex conditions.

Facilitate the task of preparing periodic reports for Fault Analysis, Reason for Outage (RFO) & report asked by the Customer.


Ensure the seeking and renewal of the statutory permissions from the concerned authorities for running the NOC on time.

Control the NOC Opex costs and display high focus in building best practices to reduce cost and increase efficiency.


Actively engage with the Internal and external customers for smooth functioning of the NOC infrastructure

Engage with the IT Partner (IBM) for IT support in alarm generation, assignment of trouble tickets etc as per business needs for smooth working of NOC operations.

Monitor the Periodic Maintenance Activities Define SLAs for IT Partners(IBM) in line with Business Requirement:
