Trademark Preparation Professional

Lexecute seeks to recruit a Trademark Preparation Professional who will be responsible for all aspects of trademark preparation, prosecution and management for U.S. clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participate in trademark due diligence analyses.
• Conduct international trademark availability searches and clearances.
• Prepare and prosecute trademark applications after conferring with clients.
• Respond to client questions regarding trademark applications.
• Respond to Trademark Examiner’s Office Actions.
• Maintain and update trademark docketing system to monitor response dates for Office Actions, filings, fees and payments.
• Maintain trademark registrations.
• Develop internal policies, guidelines, manuals and materials on trademark preparation.
• Supervise and train junior Trademark Preparation Professionals.
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of seminars.

Qualifications:

• LL.M. and/or B.S. degree in any science field.
• 1+ year of U.S. trademark drafting and preparation experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. trademark law preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with rapidly changing priorities.
