Scope of Duties:

• Draws on CAD all detailed drawings for instrument and electrical work including the location, foundation wiring, piping drawings and pneumatic and process hook ups.

• Prepares material take off sheets related to electrical and instrument drawing work. Including the electrical, electronic, and piping and instrument items

• Keeps a record of all field changes done during the construction work and incorporate them in drawings to make them “AS BUILT” including any changes done by Maintenance Department, in normal design of installation during the operation of plant, and incorporate them in drawings, data sheets etc.

• Co-ordinates and upkeeps of all drawings and design documents related to instrument and electrical works with Central Records Office. Maintains proper indexing of all design documents.

• Performs any other function assigned by higher authority.

• Has regular contacts at own and higher level within the Development Department, mainly for obtaining information or clarification of information.


Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 8 years experience in Instrument/Electrical with Gas/oil industry. Candidates should have a thorough working knowledge in designing / updating of PIDS / Data sheet / Tag list / Loop diagrams / Wiring diagrams / single line diagram / Hook- ups and layouts with relevant codes, standards and industry practices, utilizing AutoCAD and GTXRaster software. Also required is a working knowledge in Instrument/Equipment tagging system to identify and/or differentiate various types of instrument and Equipment tags. Candidate should be familiar with relevant codes, standards and industry practices, AEIMS database update and SAP Production module, and ability to work in a team orientated environment.


Remuneration Package:

• Salary is negotiable.
• 5 days working on Das Island 2 days off in Abu Dhabi + 38 days Annual leave
