RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The role holder would be expected to be able to assist the Appointed Actuary directly in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements regarding valuation of liabilities and solvency monitoring
- Assist the Appointed Actuary in setting of the valuation bases.
- Set up systems to analyse embedded value movements.
- Work with the reporting area to analyse the results of the statutory valuations to enable management to better understand what they mean for the business.
- Ability to work with the Regulator for managing queries arising out of the regulatory reports.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- Min 5 years relevant work experience preferably in a Life Office environment.
- Solid experience in Statutory Reporting.
- Embedded Value EV experience.
- Close to Actuarial qualification or recently Qualified Actuary.
