RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Organization is looking for a dynamic, self motivated individual to join the Pricing team to take an active role in managing the group pricing function.
- To manage the group pricing function.
- Specifically managing and reviewing all group facultative quotations and renewals proposing final rates to the Pricing Actuary for sign-off.
- Reviewing and maintaining group pricing methodology, pricing standards and processes.
- Technical assistance and review of pricing of group quotations.
- To assist in the management of workflow around group quotes including allocate tasks, monitor and control progress, manage client turn-around expectations.
- Provide assistance where required to the pricing team on basis development and pricing of group and individual business.
- Product Development support specifically on group business.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- An Actuarial Science degree.
- Good progress with the CT examinations.
- 12 - 24 months industry/risk product experience gained in pricing of group scheme quotations with experience in group life and group disability income pricing.
- Excellent MS office computer skills.
- Excellent Word and Excel skills with Access and VBA skills preferable.
- Good knowledge of SA group risk products and basic understanding of SA individual risk products.
- Proactive and use of own initiative.
