RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and pricing of new products or features.
- Keep up with the industry trends and developments pertaining to pricing.
- Routinely communicate with management on complex financial and actuarial issues and results of studies, with a focus on business implications and actions.
- Development of the annual New Business Plan.
- Monitor profitability of new business.
- In-force pricing review.
- The incumbent may oversee the work of other actuarial staff.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- FSA/FCIA or similar actuarial designations or very close to qualification.
- Min 3 years of experience in pricing individual insurance products.
- Capable of working under pressure.
- Experience with stochastic modeling.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with actuaries, as well as, non-actuarial team members.
- Experience with stochastic modeling.
- Knowledge of life insurance and/or retirement products.
- Strong business and analytical skills with problem-solving ability.
- Fluent in French & English.
