RESPONSIBILITIES

- Pricing model creation and maintenance, large account pricing support, program analysis and portfolio profitability analysis.
- Conduct quarterly loss reserve and underwriting results analysis and presentation of analysis to underwriting, claims and operational/financial management.
- Implement global reserving approaches with modifications as needed to meet local requirements.
- Assist Underwriters and management with actuarial aspects of the annual financial planning process.
- Provide technical assistance and information to other departments.
- Works regularly with other actuaries within the company, local finance department and other management personnel.

- Works regularly with other Company actuaries, local finance department and other management personnel.
- Commercial General Liability : This division will provide Commercial General Liability and Umbrella and Excess Liability coverage’s to selected classes and industries in the mid size arena.
- Professional Excess Liability: Typical risks will be individual practitioners, small business in certain consulting lines, small to mid size group programs. As the department grows and strengthens its underwriting abilities we will look at certain other selected classes including engineers, small accounting firms.
- Life Sciences Liability.
- Liability for Technology Companies.
- Other Specialty Casualty Lines.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- Commercial lines is mandatory.
- ACAS or near ACAS.
- Time management skills.
- Organization skills.
- Technical skills include math and analytical skills normally acquired through a Bachelors degree in math, statistics or related field.
- Oral and written communication skills are needed to communicate effectively.
- PC and programming skills and concepts are desirable in facilitating data preparation for a
