Fleet / Workshop manager Tanzania

We require a Fleet Engineer / Workshop Manager with good communicating skills & good physical health,
to manage all the areas mentioned below
Job location:- Tanzania

Role:

Manage the vehicles workshop in order to provide robust and reliable vehicles that can meet Sales demand.
Maintain all vehicles in safe condition. Maintain fleet of 300+ Vehicles

Accountabilities:
• Lead the vehicles' workshop to meet high engineering standards.
• Provide the best service to Fleet vehicles.
• Reduce the time frame for repairs and maintenance.
• Keep the Fleet running most reliably and effectively with the minimum possible cost.
• Record workshop activities for best operation evaluation.

Measures:
• Monitor day-to-day manpower allocation and vehicle repairs.
• Prepare, implement and monitor vehicle periodic maintenance schedules.
• Ensure drivers' and technicians' adherence to maintenance measures.
• Check and approve parts' requests prior to their replacements.
• Responsible for all vehicles' maintenance schedules.
• Provide technical advice whenever required.
• Keeping/maintaining the highest possible level of labor performance, efficiency and productivity.
• Keeping/maintaining acceptable levels of tooling and machineries that can best serve a high standard, highly efficient job performances.
• Monitor spare parts' stock levels to provide optimum parts availability with minimum holding cost.
• Review "Parts' Purchase Requisitions" for both emergency and stock prior to Fleet Manager's approval.
• Control vehicles' allocation among drivers and departments according to Sales & Marketing strategies and top management recommendations.

• Strong communicator with fluency in English
• Ability to use/adopt new processes and tools to improve performance
