WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Designation :Database Engineers/Senior database engineers
Experience : 3-10yrs
Technology:sql

The requirements would be:

- Knowledge of SQL Server 2000,2005

- Thorough knowledge of T-SQL

- Knowledge of Database Designing using any modelling tools such as MS Visio, ERWin etc.

- Knowledge in converting the logical design into physical design.

- Implementing business logic in database using stored procedures,functions,triggers etc.

- XML capabilities in SQL Server.

- Performance tuning

- Using SQL Server tools such as SSMS,DTS,SQL Server Profiler, SSIS

- DBA tasks - backups and restore strategy, implementing security, Job maintenance, Implementing maintenance plans etc.

- Creating and maintaining release related database scripts.

- Added advantage if there is knowledge of implementing CLR Stored procedures preferably in C#.

- Added advantage if there is exposure to any other RDBMS preferably Oracle and knowledge of PL/SQL
