Sr. Scientist (Synthesis)-R&D

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/

Literature search for the products by utilizing web based search engines. To carry out patent search.
Evaluation of related patents and patent applications.
Interpretation of synthesis routes and information available in literature.
To propose synthetic route which is non infringing.
Design experiments based on proposed synthesis route.
Carry out independently various experiments.
Interpretation of experimental data.
Interpretation of in process analytical data.
Process development. Preparation of technology transfer document.
Submission of sample to customer.
Scale up of technology from gram scale to kilo scale.
Process scale-up.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
• Exposure to process development
• Exposures to process scale up.
• Thorough knowledge of patent evaluation.
• Thorough knowledge of various chemical reactions and processes.
• Should be well acquainted with various analytical techniques and interpretation of the data.
Hands on experience of process development and setting up the reactions on gram scale to kilo scale.
Qualification ; / PHD / Msc

Experience 5 to 10 years experience in bulk drugs / API
