Sales Analyst

Diversified group based in Khartoum, Sudan requires experienced sales analyst:

1. Responsible for the extraction of daily sales figures from the ERP.
2. Responsible for the daily analysis of sales cycles and trends highlighting shortfalls or opportunities.
3. Ensure accuracy of data by comparing manual reports vs. ERP generated reports and address.
4. Responsible to applying sales cycles, trends and seasonality to budgets and forecasts.
5. Ensure accurate demand and market related trend recording to support the sales team.
6. Provide detailed reporting on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
7. Maintain a promotional calendar.
8. Work in close relation to the Sales and Marketing Teams to apply quick wins for maximum gain.
9. Maintain and update sales channels, territories and routes.
10. Analyze actual sales versus budget/plan and reveal reasons/suggests/remedial measures for improvement.
11. Manage and take accountability for our Retail Audit function
12. Responsible for the development of his/her direct reports in their respective duties and responsibilities.
13. Reviews and appraises his/her direct reports’ performance and to take proper action, whenever needed, to improve performance, and ensure his/her direct reports do the same.
14. Carry out any special projects or assignments in his/her field of experience as requested by The Company.

Requirements:
• Good managerial, team spirit and communication skills
• Fluent in English (Arabic a benefit)
• Good analytical and control skills
• Adept in learning, utilizing and manipulating database technologies
• Sound Operations and Process Flow knowledge
• Excellent computer knowledge
• Good organizational and initiative skills
• 3 – 5 years of supervisory experience in a relevant field.
